Meeting Minutes
The meeting of the South Central Iowa Local Workforce Development Board was held on November 6, 2020 at 1:00p.m. via Zoom.
CALLED TO ORDER
Vice Chair Natalie McGee called the meeting to order at 1:07 p.m due to absence of Chair White.
PRESENT
Board Members Present: Teri Bockting, Micheal Cockrum, Mark Cooper, Angela De La Riva, Kelli Hugo, Jim Keck, Monica Marshall, Natalie McGee, Patricia Mendoza, Joel Millikin, Craig Mommer, Randy Westman, Lori Wildman, Jennifer Wilson
Absent: Taren Ferguson, Marty Hardon, Sergio Lopez, Mark Shaw, Mike Swarthout, Amber White
LWDB Staff Present: Krista Tedrow, Executive Director
Guests:
Don Seams, Vice Chief Lead Elected Official, Miranda Swafford
Approval of Agenda
Keck made a motion to approve the agenda, seconded by Marshall, Ayes all. Motion carried unanimously.
BOARD STRUCTURE AND COMMITTEES
Tedrow updated members that the state was providing committee guidance to CEOs and board staff 11.13.2020.
One Stop Operator RFP
Tedrow communicated that IWD has requested the board to give a timeframe as to when the board would be able to select a one stop operator. Tedrow stated that 4 other areas are currently in this process and the board may want to wait and learn from the process prior to releasing RFP.
Executive Director Offer
Motion made to defer the consideration of this action to a future meeting by Keck seconded by Westman. Ayes all. Motion carried.

Motion to adjourn the meeting at 1:43 p.m. seconded, motion was approved unanimously. Meeting adjourned.
